Monica Bashaw, MScA, RD
Monica is a compassionate and experienced bariatric dietitian. She has worked with bariatric patients since 2014 and patients on weight loss medications since 2025. She started her career in bariatric surgery at the Montréal General Hospital and now currently divides her time between Bariatric Surgery Nutrition and working for a private Montreal bariatric surgeon (Weight Loss Surgery Inc). She regularly attends conferences and webinars to stay up to date on the latest research.
With her lived experiences of being a mother to two young kids and navigating her own health conditions (hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, eosinophilic esophagitis, etc.), she understands how difficult it can be to prioritize your own health and to make changes to your eating and lifestyle.
Monica is bilingual (English and French) and is licensed as a dietitian in Quebec (with the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec) and Ontario (with the College of Dietitians of Ontario). She is able to see clients from Quebec, Ontario, NB, NS, and NFLD. Monica resides in Quebec.

Raissa has been working with bariatric patients since 2020 and has worked with Bariatric Surgery Nutrition since 2020. She also has experience working with clients on weight loss medications.
Raissa worked at the Montreal General Hospital for 5 years before leaving to pursue private practice.
Raissa is bilingual (English and French) and is licensed as a dietitian in Quebec (with the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec). Raissa resides in Quebec.
